A family kitchen, four daughters, and a recipe book that started with Linh's mother.
My passion for food began when I was young. I grew up in a family of teachers, and my mother taught cooking and home economics. From her I learned to make good food with care and love.
As a mother of four daughters I was always creating new dishes and flavours for my family. In 2016, when my eldest daughters started university, I opened my first small takeaway cafe, Cafe Angelique. From there came Banhmi Junction, then Bánh Mì Joint, shop by shop across Melbourne's east, and now here in Tecoma, in the hills.
Our menu has grown from our signature bánh mì to phở, vermicelli bowls, rice bowls, rice paper rolls and vegan options. Our drinks have become part of the experience too, especially our Vietnamese iced coffee, cà phê sữa đá, our oolong teas in fruit flavours, and our matcha.
Through every shop and every new dish, our philosophy stays the same. Fresh ingredients. Authentic Vietnamese flavours. Food and drinks made with heart. We are proud to share a little taste of Vietnam with our Australian community.
